The new video is that of “Homecoming” featuring Chris Martin of Coldplay. Very beautiful to see Kanye in his original environment, along with interesting visual effects and the black and white that makes it all so serious. I vote yes!

The new rap crew to keep your eyes on is Miami’s own Grind Mode. I did a spotlight on them not too long ago, remember? Anyway, I have been awaiting a video to their local smash single “I’m So High”, (I don’t know anything about “She So Fly”), and here it is. Pretty decent…nothing outrageous. Just fun effects and pretty girls — I’m not mad.

The Cynical Ones is another blog that reminds me a lot of mine — the name says it all. The author, Michael, is a very talented and witty writer, who picks up on various details and delivers hilarious (but true) commentary on it all. The Urban Blogger is a new social network for bloggers and the good folks who read them — kind of like Myspace or Facebook, but with a focus on blogs. The site made its fresh launch on Monday and already has over 100 members (including yours truly…add me, bitches). This is definitely a cool place for bloggers, writers, and authors on the rise to interact with others and gain more readers to their websites, while readers can sign up and be introduced to all types of new sites. There are forums, groups, and profile pages for every member. One cool thing about it is that whenever you post a blog on your page it shows up on the site’s homepage for all to see. So, The Urban Blogger is a great place for all of us web junkies to come together and support one another.

The US magazine Star reported on its website that after an initial scare earlier in the day, Halle gave birth to a beautiful baby girl on Sunday morning (US time) in Los Angeles.

An insider told the magazine, “Halle Berry had a 7lb 4 oz girl at 10:17am Sunday morning, March 16, at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles. The actress had checked into the hospital for the second time that day after feeling contractions earlier Saturday morning. [ source ]

It is about…damn…time! Halle Berry must have been pregnant for about 5 years. I was starting to think she was just going to pop and deflate like a dollar store balloon.

Congratulations to her and her white man. I know she has wanted a child for a while, so I’m happy for her.

Cassie, allow me to be the voice of honesty in your life, right now. This is what you need to be doing for the rest of your natural damn life! No more singing or dancing…ever! Take pretty pictures, do a couple Sean John campaigns, launch your own fragrance, and await death.
