New Music: Rihanna – Pour It Up (Remix feat. Young Jeezy, Rick Ross, Juicy J & T.I.)

Kid Fury March 20, 2013 New Music 36 Comments

I suppose I should have seen this coming. Rihanna has delivered a “buncha niggas” remix to her ultra-ratchet song, “Pour It Up”. This time Young Jeezy, Rick Ross, Juicy J, and T.I. get there chance to stunt on this Magic City anthem. Personally, I think they could have kept all five minutes of this.

Meanwhile, authorities stopped Curry Goat’s tour buses on the border between Michigan and Canada and found a small amount of marijuana on one of the vehicles. Rihanna was not on any of the buses, but the passenger who was caught with the weed has been cited with a civil penalty.

  • Kerrin….

It’s “their” not “there”…. But I still love you regardless lol… Oh and I actually like the track, especially Tip’s verse…

  • FreeTuitionMakeHerDance

Lol yeah this remix is something else.

But Fury you know Rihanna ain’t going to jail for nada. Could you imagine??

  • Nate

They might as well call this the “Pour It Up (The Fuck Effort Remix)” I mean, half of them aren’t even rapping on the beat.

    • missmarchmommy

      *round of applause*

  • http://twitter.com/sotru78 Thtsqueen2u

I would have like it more without Rick Ross

  • RamenNoodles

T.I rode the hell out that beat. The rest was not needed. Tbh no one was needed. The song was good with just her and was successful with just her. I understand why she did it, but it wasn’t needed. I’m waiting for my invitation to the music video though.

  • schoolgirl25

Juicy J can go to hell. Love the original, this is trash.

    • entertainmeh

lol, why u mad at Juicy J tho?????

  • misha

They should’ve left Rick Ross’s wack ass verse off of this remix. I think they needed 2 Chains on this. I’m surprised that he’s not though. LMAO

    • Earthshaker1217

Right! Tity Boi stays in the ratchet mix.

    • Suchalady

      Agreed.

Trash trash TRASH! Hip-Hop sounds like THIS to white people…that’s why they hate it.

    • NJ

Hip hop’s biggest fans are white ppl nowadays. Go to any rap show and you’ll see 75% white ppl. Rappers selling high album numbers? White folks bought those albums. Yes there’s white ppl that don’t like rap but hell there’s black ppl don’t like it either.

      • entertainmeh

The 75% of white people that are purchasing this music do it because it’s like a minstrel show to them, they support it & mock it. They don’t want nothing to do with black folks outside of what they hear on their iPods. And that is why rappers are coons lol…

        • earthshaker1217

          You are speaking the truth.

It wasn’t meant to be taken so literally. Geez.

        :/

I’m with dafuqrusmoking. Who cares what white people like? What kind of mind sits around thinking about what white people like if they aren’t white. Jesus, Jehovah, son of Gawd did not suffer for this.

      • Dafuqrusmoking

Why the fuck does anyone care what white people like? Stop thinking that everything is done to make them motherfuckers happy.

If it’s trash, it’s trash regardless, not because white people hate it.

Overall the song is…meh. Original is better and the remix would have been better without young, insecure William Leonard and his verse full of “y’all pick on me, but my mama told I’m special.” Juicy J once again showed his complete lack of fucks towards rhythmic meter and delivered it with his customary flow that brings to mind the kid in school that couldn’t read, but volunteered to do it anyway. Jeezy did Jeezy. And T.I. did T.I., and to me one of his lines seemed particularly shady, but it could just be me. If like Misha said they had used 2 Chainz instead of William, the remix would have been a masterpiece made in ratcheaven.

    • Kordell’s Empty Chair

      Ratcheaven?!?!?!??! Consider this word STOLEN!!!!!!

      • Mesa

I’m trippy maaaan! Lmao juicy j is a mess..

    • Eviana

Lol William…. I love that u kept callin him William ur whole comment had me ctfu..but u tell no lies and I’m here for that

  • Olivia Pope’s Lip Quiver

On the Riri front, Fury you know she knows how to use her entourage better than Young Chrishelle.

  • Sensationaly_Slain

I find this song to be nothing more than a ratchet bitch anthem I would gladly sip hennessy to…I could have done w/o rickara ross tho..

  • Ms. I Stay 1Hunna

Okay… I’m over Rick Ross foreal. But I hear that “yeah hoe” and Juicy J pulls me right back into the ratchetness…lmao

    • Rihanna’s Left Breast

Yes. The “Yeah Hoe” definitely does it for me. Lol

      • Ms. I Stay 1Hunna

That’s been getting me hyped up since ’97…lmao

  • MarkAssBustahs

UGH! rihanna needs to learn the art of a remix. & why jeezy & ross. them niggas was sooooo trash.

  • NOBODY

they couldve kept this but that “bow down bitches” snatched edges????? LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

  • AbOriginal

I thought that this remix was gonna be BAD [good]… but it was just bad [bad].

  • CadyHeron

Honestly….The remix would’ve been good with just T.I. and the Juicy J to keep the ratchet theme..but that’s just me.

  • Nae
