VH1 Announces Cast Of TLC Biopic…And Girl…

Lifetime should just stick with the “battered woman finds strength and kills abuser/gets justice” movies. No one wants to watch 1 bad role ruin Keke’s career or watch the other 2 try to be stars when their place is an out of focus extra

…Drew Sidora (who tweeted a pic of her in Tboz hair   ) should be Chilli and Keke should be T Boz.  T-Boz suffers with sickle cell, she’s quick witted, does impersonations and is fiesty.  That takes a good actress who can be sassy and vulnerable and Keke’s shown that as her natural personality on Wendy Williams & other interviews & her roles in “Abducted : Carlina White Story” and “Joyful Noise” serve that.   
Chilli came into the group after it was made so her story is probably smaller and good for Drew.  She was a young mom… Drew Sidora can relate there . Chilli has the relationship drama that Drew pulled off with “The Game” and on those stage plays that GMC shows. Chilli is softer and more graceful than the Keke and I have seen Keke do sad/vulnerable/hurt but never soft in anything, she just comes off young, not womanly yet.Lil Mama needs to work on her accent, it’s very strong and will be very distracting.  She comes off older than she is. Left Eye was childlike with babydoll features, a young voice (For most of her career) ..I don’t think Lil Mama can tone it down that well.  Aside from unknowns they could’ve used Kyla Pratt as Left Eye. She has that youthful voice, face , energy and the acting experience to do it. She’s played tomboys before.  Chilli could’ve been Andrea Lewis (Hazel from “Degrassi”, her thosegirlsarewild youtube videos show her ability better with her personality, she’s short (unlike Keke) and looks like Chilli. Looks are whatever…although Andrea Lewis looks like Chili, Keke could look like Tboz (small eyes, big smile) and Kyla Pratt could’ve looked like Left Eye (just picture Kyla with a backwards baseball cap or a bang and a messy pony tail)

I’ve always loved Keke Palmer, but it seems like her career is slowly on the decline. Sad, sad news.

Lord Jesus its a fire. I just can NOT rest well with VH1 and thee forcing of this with no lube. First of all has thee media just stopped trying to find people that actually resemble the stars in these films? This line up would do a Nickelodeon’s Where Are They Now special much more justice. And second. the only person I would ever accept to play thee role of Left Eye is Natina Reed and since she too is no longer with us then thee whole project should’ve ceased.

Ya’ll acting like Chilli and T-boz themselves weren’t sitting in the audition and casting rooms they picked these people lmao. Anywho the only one I question is Drew, Keke can act and Lil Mama’s personality is every bit of Lisa; Spunky and Outspoken, plus we haven’t seen her act which means we having nothing to really judge her on as far as acting ability goes. All we can do is wait and see.

Not surprised. I’m convinced that VH1 was ordered by The Illuminati to throw shade at black people

@Yep It’s Kwanzaa I totally agree with you on Lil Mama. People need to stop hating her for no reason  because she has done good for herself. She’s a judge on ABDC so come on! T-Boz and Chili said they wanted someone that was not established anyway and Lil Mama is not an established actress.

I definitely felt they should have used Kyla Pratt as Left Eye. This cast is bullocks. I like Keke but I wonder if she didn’t have in a good Brazilian would they have considered her for the role. It’s just wrong all around I’m not looking forward to it.
