With all this drama in the LBC, it’s kinda hard picking out a filter for CB.

If you were fond of Chris Brown’s myriad of graffiti, haircut and nose-ring photos, it’s about to be a sad day for you. The singer has apparently called it quits with Instagram, deleting his account Tuesday night.

Chris thanked his fans before shutting the page down, saying, “social media takes away the essence of why we are even special or icons. So with that, I’m detaching myself from that world.”

This comes after a ton of reports on his fight with Frank Ocean on Sunday night. Yellow Cake was also seen with a cast on his punching hand yesterday.

One of the last pictures Chris posted on his Instagram was some art he created of Jesus Christ nailed to the cross, stating that the painting represented how he was feeling. That’s where my eyes rolled back to birth.

Chris has deleted social media accounts before and when things blow over and/or he retreats from his feelings, he comes right back. Now probably won’t be any different.

my interpretation is as follows: when i was growing up, whenever i went through phases of folks having shit to say, folks starting rumors, or just any hurtful stuff coming from others, my ma would always say “they talked about Jesus.” i think he was coming from that place. my mama wasnt comparing me to Jesus, but she was more so saying, “look, this happened to the only perfect person in the world, so why wouldnt it happen to you” kind of thing.

I think it’s insensitive to say he’s sensitive. And you’re right, you don’t have more than half the world verbally attacking you on social network sites. Everytime I view her comments on Instagram its filled with hate. And I’m sure her mentions is worser. i feel like people totally took that painting out of context. everyone kept saying he was comparing himself to Jesus and blazay blazay. growing up, whenever gossip and rumors became issues, the first thing my mama said was, “hell,they talked about Jesus…” his painting was no different. people just look for any reason to give poor Breezy a hard time. i love him though… he’s good in my book.

Chris we love you, we know it is hard with all this over opinionated people in your case all the time yet cannot take their own criticism but expect others to swallow theirs. Just keep your head up. I am glad Rihanna is back in your life just learn one thing from her, not to care too much about what the critics say.
We know it is hard though when they never give you a break like the rest of the celebs. Even Lindsay Lohan, Charlie Sheen, Mel Gibson, Eminem etc were given multiple chances and all you are asking for is a second change to make things right. I guess the world do not have it to give, you just have to take it by force and damn all consequence like Charlie Sheen and the world will respect you.
The issue is that you care too much what people say/think about you. I remember Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie saying they don’t read the blogs or watch social media, good route to go. You are young and need to stay in touch with your peers but sometimes the price of celebrity is exclusivity. You need to choose one, to be a celeb or rest of us?
