Alicia Keys is out here snatching #1 albums like she snatches married men — without a care while you are forced to deal. Her latest album, Girl On Fire: Blackness Everdeen, has topped the Billboard charts this week with 159,000 copies sold according to Nielsen SoundScan.
This is now her fifth number one album, as her first four projects and her Unplugged album also peaked at the top of the chart. I still haven’t listened to this new album and don’t really have the desire to do so. I mean…I just wanted to see the “Put It In A Love Song” video.
Anyway, congratulations to Alicia. If you’re wondering about Miss Rihanna’s album, Unapologetic slipped down the charts from #1 to #6. Shine bright like Alicia’s slickback.
