Ester Dean has been lending her craft to most of today’s biggest music stars, but next year she plans to release her long-delayed debut album, Story Never Told.

Today the singer/songwriter released a cover of Bonnie Raitt’s classic “I Can’t Make You Love Me” and I really wish she hadn’t. I love Ester, but this dance-pop version sounds a generic ass fool.

That’s it. I’m going into songwriting. Cause whoever wrote this song is making a killing. How many versions are there? Bonnie Raitt, Boyz II Men, Prince, Adele, George Michael, Bon Iver, Tank, now Ester Dean.

For the record, I like Tank’s version the best. He seems the most emotional when he sings the song.
