I was like who is aabriyah?! I thought that was a new singer or something! And then I realized who you were talking about Drake. Hahaha. The shade. The shade. Haha.

  • FrostByteMuah

Definitely didn’t need all those features!
    But it’s Cool.

Drake had the best verse. Sounds like he’s ready to come back (^_^)

from that study room he has been hiding in working hard for his diploma meditating and listen to Aaliyah daily.

  • Awkwardfunny_girl

Chile I guess so. Is it me or is anyone else salivating for something hot and fresh instead of the same recycled shit? Artists: please give us something for which we may flip on the krispy kreme sign…please?

  • Diamondgyrl0718

ummmmmmmmmmmm is that Aaliyah (the oh’s in the back) from “Come Over”???? All i can say i hope this Aaliyah tribute sound nothing like THIS!!!!!!!!!

    • KidFury

I knew someone else would hear it. Drake & 40 are exceeding the most.

I’ll pass but as I do that can I express my disdain for 2Chainz? He may be big but I just STILL don’t see it for him. Anyway.

    • Earthshaker1217

I don’t see it for him either. He needs to sit down. Kendrick, Drake, and Asap need to keep growing as artists and not sully themselves with the likes of Tity Boi.

I love 2 chainz b/c he is who he is; he’s a twerking rapper aka an updated version of Uncle Luke. Not meant to be deep but meant for your ass to get crunk before you get to the club, twerk it non stop in the club and hype of the after the party. However there’s no variation in today’s music. Back then you had your traditional gangsta rap (all of the west coast), East coast rap more along the lines of party music or less serious (Fresh Prince, Kid n Play), Southern ratchett twerking jamz and your more funk inspired Hip Hop like Outcast, ATQC, Digable Planets. There’s just all shake your ass drop it the floor and collect my paycheck music. *sigh* Oh I miss the old days

      • Earthshaker1217

But that’s why I don’t think Kendrick and Drake shouldn’t have been on this song. They both approach rapping in a journalistic manner where they talk about their experiences connected to larger ideas. That doesn’t mesh well with Tity boi’s ratchet/stripper/twerk it, twist it, and pop it style.

Kendrick yes; girl what Aubrey have you been listen to yes he has some songs that are a little more but the sadness in the songs are ALWAYS related to some pussy popping scripper or some girl. Drakeisha is not deep he is singed to YM and was on No Lie which is also w/ 2 chainz.

          • Earthshaker1217

Um…I’ve heard songs where Drake has rapped about problems that he has experienced like finding his mother in the driveway about to leave the family or getting a call from a girl saying she regrets having an abortion. I agree now he has been doing a series of stripper songs, and I don’t approve of that.

        • serenissima

theyre not allowed to make ‘serious’ music about experiences and larger ideas AND ratchet music when they feel like it? way to box them in much :-/

  • Heyboo

I honestly hated it, mainly I felt that repeating “fucking” was just annoying and trashy. Yep, I’m getting old, or this shit is getting old, IDK. Bottomline, no.

  • Lovequest

I like this ignorant ish! Seriously, I’m going to download it—I don’t know why but when I work out, I LOVES the ratchet music! LOL

    • Earthshaker1217

I understand. It’s get you extra hype.

  • Kyana

Subtract Aabriyah and that forgettable A$AP verse, and I’m here for it!

  • Buckey’s Wig

Im sick of all the booty meat hoe tracks….hip hop is finished….r&b is extinct…the radio is on suicide watch….

  • Cease_Desist_and_Reseat

*reaching blindly for the advil* Hm. I wanna say that I listened to the whole song so that my point is more accurate, but honestly, just one take of that chorus/ morph it power ranger disaster, on top of that “I made this with Audacity on my 2001 Macintosh in my cousin’s basement” beat… I couldn’t make it. I just skipped to Kendrick lamar’s part, which was alright for what i could understand and then quickly hit the pause button. Now I will commence in downing the entire bottle of soft gels and hoping it will ease my pain as my brain cells disintegrate to nothing.

  • flojo

I don’t need to listen it, the comments gave me enough explanation!

  • britchick91

Aubrey’s obsession with Aaliyah is very disturbing

    • Madelina12

I knew I wasn’t the only one hearing an Aaliyah sample.

Aubrey you need to stop, its way beyond creepy now.

I swear he has an Aaliyah themed bedroom with paintings hes painted of her.

He probably sleeps in an Aaliyah wig.

      • britchick91

he probably has a shrine in his house. He is slowly but surely losing me as a fan because of this and his other shenanigans

this song just brings all of my inner negro. I definitely bumped this ALL weekend long.

  • ToBeReal
