Candid Yams: Queen Latifah, J. Cole, Lana Del Rey

Kweeng Latifah was snapped running around outside a taping of The Late Show With David Letterman yesterday. The actress/rapper, who is currently promoting her film Ice Age: Continental Drift, flipped out of some very handsome attire and into a pair of black heels and a smooth dress. A legendary “Butch In Pumps” icon and I love her for it.

The love of my life and father of my unborn child, King Jermaine Lamarr Cole, was spotted outside a nightclub in Mayfair, London in the wee hours of the morning. However, I can assure you that he promptly made his way back to the hotel where he called to freestyle sweet nothings into my spirit. Cole is currently hard at work on his sophomore album.

Also working hard is Lana Del Rey who stopped outside of her Los Angeles hotel, Chateau Marmont, to snap a few pictures and sign autographs for fans. She later hopped in her Classic and headed to eat at Urthe Caffe in Hollywood. Lana recently completed a video for her song “Summertime Sadness” which should premiere soon.
