The fans and fuckery enthusiasts have spoken! Jamie Foxx has announced that the Skank Robbers skit he and Martin Lawerence did for the EBT awards will be developed into a real film.
Los Angeles, CA (CNS) – Martin Lawrence and Jamie Foxx could be heading to the big screen together for the first time in a comedy based on a skit they did for the “BET Awards.” Variety reports that Screen Gems has acquired the rights for a starring vehicle for the two stars, “Sheneneh and Wanda.”
According to reports, the skit “Skank Robbers,” available to watch on YouTube, will be fleshed out into a full-fledged comedy. “Skank Robbers” will feature a similar storyline from the popular parody, featuring the two female characters involved in bank robberies.
Foxx will reportedly pen the script and will produce with his Foxxhole company along with Lawrence’s Runteldat production company. [source]
