As happy as I am for Lil’ Mama, with her album finally being released and all, her team could have done a better job for an album cover. Poor thing looks like an anime child prostitute or something. I wish she would grow up a little. She actually has the talent of MCs nearly twice her age, but she stays stuck in Cabbage Patch Kids clothing.

I haven’t been watching much of Making The Band 4, because I don’t care for any of Diddy’s puppets like that. However, I will admit that I like this new Danity Kane song and the new video is pretty decent — probably their best video yet. The ending was a little corny, but I’ll give it a thumbs up.

R&B singer T-Pain caused chaos at a Connecticut university when he reportedly refused to leave the campus - forcing security to call in police. The Kiss Kiss star was performing at Quinnipiac University’s Spring Concert on 23 February (08) when an altercation took place, prompting guards to escort T-Pain and his entourage off the premises. University officials have refused to divulge details of the incident, with Chief of Security John Twining only admitting the institution made some requests but “they (T-Pain and his entourage) didn’t listen, and suffice it to say, he refused to comply”. According to reports, T-Pain refused to leave the site, so Hampden Police were called in to deal with the situation. T-Pain’s representatives have so far failed to respond to the university’s allegations. [ source ]

This has nothing to do with today’s news, so prepare for a rant instead. So, I’m listening to some new tunes on that iPhone of mine, with Cherish’s newest joint “Killa” happening to be one of them. The song features Yung Joc and I had never heard it before yesterday. Everything was good and I actually liked the song…until I heard this negro rap that line above. “Flooded like New Orleans”, he says — is that supposed to be okay? Let me know, because I was under the impression that the Hurricane Katrina and the related floods in New Orleans destroyed homes, families, and even lives. I guess that makes for a catchy line in a song, huh?

Okay, that was just stupid! I don’t know why everyone is fiending for Dru Hill to get back together anyway. They made a nice mark, but I could do without them in my life. This video is ultra-ignorant! Am I supposed to believe that all this is real? Lil’ Kim’s skin color is more authentic than that trash.

So, I’m hearing Chris Brown got into a scuffle during an after-party at a German nightclub. Supposedly, he decided to go all You Got Served and do a dance-battle against some party-goers, when things got heated. Some gentlemen from the opposing crew said something that ticked him off (probably along the lines of “I beat Rihanna up Wall to Wall”…) and there was pushing until Chris’s entourage held him back.

See, this is why I don’t go to 18-and-over clubs. I don’t deal well with children.

So, I’m still twisted over this Biggie biopic casting. I’m worried — so I decided to try and dig up some dirt on the other cast members to see who else is playing who. Not much luck, so I’m guessing shit.

My first prediction is that Antonique Smith will be playing the part of Faith Evans. Smith is a singer and an actress who has even appeared on Broadway. Besides that, she looks exactly like Faith, so I don’t see who else she would act as.

Let it be known that Biggie is my favorite rapper, so I’m kind of iffy about this whole thing. I don’t know who Gravy is (but his name is perfect…so perfect), so this makes me nervous. He does look somewhat like Biggie and he’s from the same place, but that doesn’t mean he can do the role justice. I will be more than furious if they botch this movie up.
